Job Description

WildKat PR is offering an exciting opportunity to join our London team. Working with the Founder, Director of the London Office, and Account Managers, they will learn how to develop and execute creative PR campaigns across the classical music and cultural industries in order to generate coverage and publicity for our clients.

 

Key duties

As a Junior Account Manager:

-To support the Director of the London Office with her administrative needs

-To assist the Account Managers in securing opportunities for clients and helping them to achieve their PR goals. This includes: researching publications and opportunities for coverage, organising client events, assisting with client reports and feedback

-To think creatively about how you (and your colleagues) approach campaigns. You will be asked to continually make new connections and approach your work in innovative ways. You will be expected to challenge how we, and the industry, are doing things

-To write copy in relation to client needs, including: fact sheets, bios, blogposts, newsletters, brochures

-To learn quickly and efficiently how to develop and execute creative PR campaigns in order to take on your own clients and manage their PR goals effectively. This will include liaising with journalists to generate and secure media coverage for clients

-To organise client events, as needed. This includes: concerts, VIP receptions, industry networking events

-To attend all relevant artists’ events (which regularly occur outside of office hours) including meetings and performances

-To network within the industry to build your reputation and that of the company.

-To be willing to take on additional responsibilities and grow into a more senior role within the company

Working with the Director, Head of Press, and fellow Account Managers on creative PR campaigns across the classical music and cultural industries, they will be expected to quickly establish and build strong working relationships with press to generate media coverage for our clients.

Job Description

WildKat PR is offering an exceptional opportunity for an experienced individual to join our Berlin team to lead and advise on social media and digital strategy across the company.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a digital specialist to join one of the leading PR agencies at a time of continued rapid international growth, and to work creatively with an exciting roster of varied and high-profile artists and clients. This role requires an excellent knowledge and understanding of the digital landscape, but does not require experience within the cultural or arts sectors.

The Social Media and Content Manager will be based in the Berlin office, but will also work closely with the London team and must be fluent in English. This role is ideal for an English-speaker who would like to relocate to Berlin. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience.
Start date: August/September 2016

 

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop the strategy and execution of the social media and content platforms for WildKat PR’s clients. Platforms will include, but are not limited to, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat
• Determine measures of success and evaluate the work carried out
• Lead the planning, creation and distribution of engaging, timely and relevant content for WildKat PR’s clients, ensuring sensitivity to the individual personalities and priorities of each client
• Work closely with the Account Managers in London and Berlin to ensure that social media and digital campaigns are closely linked to the PR and publicity work that is taking place for each client
• Create social media overviews and progress reports to feed back to clients
• Lead the running of the WildKat PR social media channels, advising Account Managers on best practice and developing the audience and reach of each channel
• Encourage innovation and forward-thinking throughout WildKat PR’s social media and digital work, staying informed of new trends and platforms and feeling confident and inspired to try out new ideas

 

Person Specification:

• Minimum of two years’ experience working in social media and content creation
• In-depth understanding of best practice across all social channels and emerging platforms
• Awareness and understanding of evolving technology, alongside the ability to research and discover new and innovative opportunities and platforms
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Fluent English speaker, but with an extremely high level of proficiency in German
• A team player, with proven experience working in a busy office

WildKat PR is excited to hear that Ilaria Borletti Buitoni has become The European Union Youth Orchestra‘s newest Trustee.

Ilaria was born in Milan, has strong entrepreneurial experience, founded an NGO which supports medical and educational programs in East Africa, and holds a number of international positions on non-profit boards throughout the humanitarian and cultural sectors. She also founded the Borletti-Buitoni Trust which helps outstanding young musicians to develop and sustain international careers with awards that fund tailor-made projects.

She brings great musical experience and a significant additional European dimension to our membership.     Russian violinist Sergei Dogadin was awarded first prize at the 2015 Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition Hannover.

    The competition is named after the violinist and composer Joseph Joachim who was royal concertmaster in Hannover from 1852-1867. Joachim contributed greatly to musical life in the city, the organisation also supports the development of young artists and promotes music in Hannover.

    Sergei studied at the St. Petersburg Conservatory, he has won prizes at nine international music competitions and performed at the world’s most illustrious concert venues following his debut at the Grand Hall of the Saint Petersburg Philharmonie under V.Petrenko and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic orchestra.

    Watch him performing Eugene Ysaye’s ‘Sonata for solo violin No. 3 Op. 27’- in the first opening round of the competition.
