Guildhall seeks adult non-singers for research project

The 33-month project, which involves psychological, educational and artistic research, launched in April 2016. It aims to investigate the best ways of helping non-singers to participate in singing and improve their skills, and to show what their developmental journeys look like.

Rare Pavarotti recording discovered

A recording of the 19-year-old Luciano Pavarotti has been discovered in the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod archives. It features two songs from the Chorus Rossini’s performance at the festival in 1955. The Modena ensemble won the male voice choir category.
