This evening we bring you the third of the ‘WildKat PR attend the 2011 IAMA conference’ series….

Last week the WildKat PR team headed out in force to the 21st International Artist Managers’ Association (IAMA) conference – the only worldwide association for classical music artist managements.

We thought this would be a fantastic opportunity to vlog about various views on the classical music world from some of the leading members of the industry.

The third question we asked was:

‘What do you think the next big online or digital development will be for the classical music world?’

The WildKat team brings you another Upbeat interview video blog, this time with prestigious conductor, Alessandro Crudele. We thought we would give him a quick question and answer interview when he came into the Berlin office earlier this month. Take a look to see what he had to say about his life…

Alessandro will be conducting the Milan State University Orchestra in Leipzig on 1st April 2011.

Last week in Berlin, we met up with the young, talented conductor, Alessandro Crudele. During our time together, we asked him a little about his life as a conductor. Seeing as we can only show you a snippet of his exciting, unique life, is there anything else you would like to find out? Leave a comment and Alessandro will try to get back to you!

Once again, the WildKat team bring you another ‘Upbeat’ video blog. When we met up with Nicholas McCarthy earlier this week, we seized the opportunity to carry out this quick question and answer interview, giving you a little insight into his life and personality, as well as finding out a bit more about his musical tastes and background.

A documentary was recently filmed of Alessandro conducting and working with the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra. Throughout the film he describes how and why he has developed his close and unique relationship with the orchestra, whilst members of the orchestra also discuss why they love working with Alessandro.

All this week, Alban Gerhardt is touring across North Germany. However, this is no usual tour. Each morning he will be speaking on a local radio station and then listeners will call in and request an unusual or unique place for Alban to perform that evening! Here is the first video from yesterday’s visit to Rostock and Radio Lohro.

Yesterday evening Alban performed a selection of Bach’s Cello Suites for the radio’s winner at Haus Böll Stiftungin, Rostock, to an audience of around 40 guests:

There will be many more videos, pictures and updates of what he will be getting up to. To see what he is getting up to, have a look on his facebook and twitter!

After 5 weeks, 35 shows and a lot of lipstick, Kate Dimbleby’s show ‘I’m a Woman’ came to an end yesterday afternoon at the New End Theatre in Hampstead. With numerous outstanding reviews and many a man being lured willingly(!) on stage whilst Kate sat beside them and sung, the show was a huge success.

For those who missed it, or those who just want more, we shall leave you with a video of Kate singing one of the songs from the show, Nina Simone’s ‘I Wish I Knew How it Would Feel to be Free’, accompanied by the Honky Tonk Angels. Enjoy!
