Juliette Journaux

Instrumentalist

Juliette Journaux is a french free-lance collaborative pianist and vocal coach based in Paris. She just completed her master’s degree in Piano, Vocal Accompaniment and Opera Conducting at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. She has just spent three weeks at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence as part of the Opera Academy. She is invited as a vocal coach in numerous Opera Houses such as the Opera Comique (La Princesse Légère, Violeta Cruz), the Opera de Rouen (L’Elisir d’amore, Donizetti ; Iphigénie en Tauride, Gluck), The Seine Musicale (Symphony n9, Beethoven) or the Grand Theatre de Provence (Pastoral for the Planet, Beethoven/Mendelssohn). She had the opportunity to work with prestigious conductors : Laurence Equilbey, Christophe Rousset, Benjamin Reiners, Duncan Ward…

As a collaborative pianist, she is part of the Orsay-Royaumont Academy alongside the austrian baritone Liviu Hollender wich gives them the opportunity to record their first album in Summer 2022 and do a European tour during the 2022-2023 season. During the 2021-2022 season, Juliette will make her debut at the Philarmonie de Paris in a Mahler lieder recital with Liviu Hollender, a program prepared with Thomas Hampson during the pandemic period. She will also be a vocal coach at the Breme Festival and at the Dortmund Konzerthaus in a Beethoven program imagined by Laurence Equilbey and La Fura dels Baus.

Our Paris office is delighted to accompany her in the promotion of her first solo album Wanderer Without Words which will be released on Alpha Classics (Piano Stories Collection) during fall.
