Minguet Quartet

String Quartet

The Minguet Quartet, founded in 1988, is one of the most internationally sought-after string quartets today and gives guest performances in all the great concert halls of the world. Regulars at music festivals and major concert halls in important cities across the globe, the Minguet Quartett have appeared at venues including New York City’s Frick Collection, at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Berlin’s Philharmonic, and the Muziekgebouw Amsterdam.

The namesake of the Quartet is Pablo Minguet, a Spanish philosopher of the 18th century who attempted, in his writings, to facilitate access to the fine arts for all sectors of the population – and this idea is a chief artistic concern of the Minguet Quartet today.

On 17th May 2019, the Minguet Quartet will perform in a concert at the Southbank Centre’s Purcell Room in London. The quartet will perform the world premiere of Roberto David Rusconi’s new composition for solo violin alongside Beethoven and Haydn.

WildKat are excited to be working with the quartet on press and PR for their upcoming concert.
