Warwick Blair

The liberal sound of Auckland-based composer, Warwick Blair, has been honed into a perfect synthesis of electronic pop, classical, and the ancestral music of New Zealand. His unique style was further developed in the Netherlands where he studied electronic music and musical composition under the tutelage of Louis Andriessen. Hailed as the “enfant terrible of New Zealand Music” by NZ Listener, such recognition has provided him with many sync opportunities with the likes of Gordon’s Gin, Mastercard, and Sky TV. Audiences in the UK have enjoyed his music at Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Southbank Centre, Tête à Tête Opera Festival, and Kings Place.

WildKat PR worked with Warwick on the world premiere of “Visible Invisible” (2017), which was performed by his self-titled collective, the Warwick Blair Ensemble, on 13th and 14th June at EKLECTIK, London.
