Yael Nachshon Levin

Singer-songwriter Yael Nachshon Levin was born in Israel and moved to New York City to pursue her musical education at the famous New School University, where she studied with legends such as Sheila Jordan, Reggie Workman and Jane Ira Blum. Yael is the founder and manager of the non-profit cultural salon FRAMED e.V, which supports artists and musicians in Berlin by hosting events that combine quality live-music and top-notch art. Since her move to Berlin in 2016, Yael has written a weekly column in the Berliner Zeitung which later came out as a book (Aufbau Verlag) and released two albums.

Yael is currently preparing to release her fifth studio album, Tigers and Hummingbirds, out 5 May 2023 with LowSwing Records. Founded by Guy Sternberg in 2017, LowSwing is a record label and studio in Berlin dedicated to the love of music on the analogue format, sharing the sounds of exciting new artists with the production values of yesteryear.
