The Southbank Centre’s new year-long festival will explore what it means to be human in the 21st century. Presented in partnership with the London Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO), Belief and Beyond Belief will consider questions pertaining to life, death, religion and spirituality.

Ein Bratschist der Berliner Philharmoniker hatte einem Berufskollegen 2013 die Viola mit der Inschrift “Luigi Mingazzi Ravenna 1923” für 60.000 Euro abgekauft. Zwei Jahre später ergab jedoch ein Privatgutachten, dass die Bratsche gar nicht von dem Meister aus Ravenna, sondern aus dem Vogtland stamme.
