Violinist Luke Hsu wins Houston Symphony Ima Hogg Competition 2016
American violinist Luke Hsu has won the 41st annual Houston Symphony Ima Hogg Competition and receives the gold medal, a $25,000 cash prize and a solo performance with the Houston Symphony on July 9, 2016.

First recording of the fluid piano issued
Utsav Lal has released the first recording on the fluid piano. The instrument, created by Geoff Smith, allows musicians to alter each note individually and separately by precise microtonal intervals per note before or during a performance.
