So in the last five years Thomas Kemp has helped put West Malling on the musical map as part of a mission to bring top-flight music to the area.

St John’s orchestra to bring Marvellous Mozart to life in classical show
LOVERS of classical music are in for a treat at St John’s Church next month, when The Orchestra of St John will be performing its ‘Marvellous Mozart’ programme. The Bromsgrove-based symphony orchestra will be performing songs such as The Linz and Mozart’s ‘Turkish’ violin concerto at at 7.30pm on October 1.

The classically trained musicians, who were in town to play at the Craven Creek Concerts, stopped by St Joseph’s Primary School and Gloucester Public School for a session. Creating their own sound, students stomp their feet and clap their hands to make their own music as directed by the Craven Creek Musicians.
