Over 100,000 pupils a year to lose opportunity to study arts subjects, report finds

Many young people across England will lose the option to study arts and other non-core subjects if the Government implements its plan to require 90% of GCSE pupils to study the English Baccalaureate.

Opera Holland Park announces Grenfell memorial gala

Funds raised by this year’s memorial concert will enable over 100 children and young people from North Kensington to attend ‘residential’ trips, week-long trips, often to the coast and countryside, which allow them to try new activities and escape the pressures of everyday life.

Die Sopranstin Anja Kampe hat den Ehrentitel einer Bayerischen Kammersängerin erhalten. Die Auszeichnung wurde Kampe im Anschluss an eine Aufführung von Richard Wagners “Walküre” an der Bayerischen Staatsoper aus den Händen des Intendanten Nikolaus Bachler verliehen.
