Der deutsche Komponist Moritz Eggert (50) erhält in diesem Jahr den mit 10.000 Euro dotierten Louis Spohr Musikpreis der Stadt Braunschweig. Die Preisverleihung findet mit Unterstützung des Staatsorchesters Braunschweig am 23. Oktober 2016 im Rahmen eines Sinfoniekonzertes in der Stadthalle Braunschweig statt.
