Mark Wigglesworth has broken his silence for the first time since resigning as music director of English National Opera. Wigglesworth announced that he was stepping down on March 22, confessing in a letter to ENO musicians and technical staff that the company was ‘evolving into something I do not recognise’.

Radio 3 achieves greatest reach in three years

Radio 3 has reached its highest audience in three years. RAJAR figures for the first quarter of 2016 show Radio 3’s audience reach as 2.12 million (up from 2.05m last quarter and 2.08m last year).
