An independent and human-sized label, Aparté was founded in 2008 by Nicolas Bartholomée , a passionate sound engineer. Each Aparté record bears his signature, whose singularity has been highlighted by music critics. With over 300 references that have won numerous awards, the label has forged very strong and strategic links with its artists, through the quality of its listening and support, and the particular attention paid to sound.

Among the great performers who trust him: Christophe Rousset and Les Talens Lyriques, Ophélie Gaillard, Cyrille Dubois, Andreas Scholl, Karine Deshayes, Marina Viotti, the conductors Mathieu Romano and Maxim Emelyanychev, or talents who have more recently joined Aparté like the violinist Manon Galy, the pianist Simon Bürki.
