BACKEssex lockdown one-man choir of nine singers
A musician has used technology to get creative in lockdown and become a one-man, nine-strong choir.
Bobby Goulder, 26, from Essex, was commissioned to record The Lord Bless You And Keep You for somebody’s memorial and used a self-cloning technique for the video.
With social distancing making it difficult for groups to get together, rather than bring a choir together remotely – the baritone decided to sing the piece nine times himself.
Badisches Staatstheater will mit Interimslösung aus der Krise
Nach den monatelangen Vorwürfen gegen Generalintendant Peter Spuhler verschafft sich das Badische Staatstheater in Karlsruhe Luft auf dem Weg aus der Krise. Zunächst soll eine Interimsintendanz die Leitung übernehmen, bevor zur Saison 2024/2025 eine neue Struktur einsetzen und eine langfristige neue Führung übernehmen wird, wie das Kulturministerium nach einer Sitzung des Verwaltungsrats am Mittwochabend mitteilte.
Zuvor war unter anderem auch über die Option einer aufgeteilten Intendanz aus den Spartenleitungen am Staatstheater beraten worden.
Baden State Theatre wants to get out of the crisis with an interim solution
After months of accusations against general director Peter Spuhler, the Badisches Staatstheater in Karlsruhe is catching its breath on the way out of the crisis. Initially, an interim director will take over before a new structure is put in place for the 2024/2025 season and new long-term leadership takes over, as the Ministry of Culture announced after a meeting of the board of directors on Wednesday evening.
Previously, the option of a split artistic directorship from the divisional directors at the State Theatre had also been discussed, among other things.

Pour ResMusica, la directrice revient sur le fonctionnement et les actions d’une Maison née en pleine pandémie et qui doit faire face à la situation plus que difficile que connaît aujourd’hui le monde de la Culture.
