Isata Kanneh-Mason is set to release her second album Summertime, featuring works by American composers. This comes after the 25-year-old pianist’s debut album Romance was awarded a four-star review by BBC Music Magazine and launched her to the top of the UK Classical Charts.
The album is centred around 20th-century American works, including the world premiere recording of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Impromptu No. 2 in B minor, 100 years after it was first published in London.

Genauer noch: Sie sollen entweder Lizenzen erwerben, die die Nutzung legal machen – oder aber “bestmögliche Anstrengungen” unternehmen, illegale Nutzungsformen von ihren Plattformen zu kehren.
‘Unfortunately, your upload failed‘
The Bundestag has passed the copyright reform – and that practically means that upload filters are coming. The term does not appear in the law, but it is clear that without them, larger platforms will not be able to meet their new responsibilities.
The highly controversial Article 17 of the EU copyright reform stipulates that platforms will in future be responsible under copyright law for all content uploaded by users. More precisely, they should either acquire licences that make the use legal – or make “best efforts” to sweep illegal uses from their platforms.

Une aubaine, par ces temps de pandémie, même si le projet était bien antérieur à la crise sanitaire. L’inauguration aurait d’ailleurs dû avoir lieu en juillet 2020.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic has its Hollywood Bowl, the San Diego Symphony, a little further south in California, will have its Rady Shell. Built on an embankment that juts out into San Diego Bay, this acoustic shell will be able to host an outdoor summer concert season. A godsend in these times of pandemic, even if the project predates the health crisis. The inauguration should have taken place in July 2020.
