BACKNational Youth Choirs of Great Britain announces audition details
The National Youth Choirs of Great Britain has announced the details for its annual auditions, which will open for booking on 7 September at midday, and close on 10 October 2021. The auditions themselves will take place in October and November.
For the second year running, auditions are taking place entirely online through Zoom, meaning young singers across the UK can audition from their homes or schools.

First Virtual Reality Project with the Augsburg Philharmonic Orchestra
With Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition”, the Augsburg State Theatre is launching its first virtual reality experience in partnership with the Augsburg Philharmonic Orchestra. There will be a very special technical detail: Visitors experiencing the concert in 360° in VR glasses will be able to zoom in to four different positions in the midst of the orchestra and take in a perspective that is otherwise reserved for the musicians. Whether directly next to the conductor, in the middle of the bassoons or in front of the harps, the instrumental sections that determine the musical performance seem within reach.

Le chef israélien, actuellement directeur musical l’Orchestre philharmonique de Stuttgart, prendra ses fonctions à Naples à partir de janvier 2023.
L’illustre théâtre napolitain s’est trouvé un nouveau directeur musical : Dan Ettinger. Le chef d’orchestre israélien succédera en janvier 2023 à Juraj Valcuha qui occupait le poste depuis octobre 2016.

The Israeli conductor, currently musical director of the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra, will take up his post in Naples from January 2023.
The illustrious Neapolitan theatre has found a new musical director: Dan Ettinger. The Israeli conductor will succeed Juraj Valcuha in January 2023, who had held the position since October 2016.
