Picture this: you have a big concert up, and you make sure to post a lovely graphic with the venue’s logo and information on where to purchase tickets. Great! But…no engagement. No tickets sold.

Imagine instead that you take the time to create five low-effort bespoke pieces of content that have value and encourage engagement. Let’s break it down.
- You’re an opera singer. You quickly pull out your phone during the sitzprobe for your concert. You film yourself “selfie-style” as the orchestra plays the first time. Your face lights up while hearing the opening of the aria. You’re about to sing when the video cuts off. No edits. No filters. No graphics. Your audience is touched by your authenticity and excitement for the work!
- You’re a violinist. You have footage of yourself playing the concert repertoire from the past. You take the time to splice together a reel of you playing the climax from the past, followed by you playing during present-day rehearsal. The end of the reel leaves viewers with the question: do you want to see the final form of the repertoire?
- You’re a conductor on tour. You take a photo of yourself every few hours on travel day, including one final photo in front of your dressing room nameplate. The result is a carousel displaying your journey to the venue that builds anticipation for your viewers.
- You’re an organization. You take a 30 second video of the music director giving the orchestra a pep talk, and add subtitles in the Edits app. Your followers feel let in on an exclusive moment and are eager to hear the moment your music director is excited about in person.
- You’re a competition coordinator. You film all ten of your contestants walking on stage and cut the clips together. The reel is only 15 seconds long. There is an air of anticipation, mystery, and excitement for what is about to happen on stage.
There are levels to content. They can be low effort, take little time and energy, and still garner engagement from your followers. If you want to level up, it’s absolutely possible. That’s where we come in. Instead of just posting a clip of you performing from a past concert, let’s overlay the sheet music itself so your viewers can follow along. Instead of posting one clip of the music director’s pep talk, let’s edit together a highlight reel of their best nuggets of advice during rehearsal. Once you free yourself from the idea that ticket plugs are the only way to sell, a whole new world of genuine connection and longevity opens up.
