Self-taught composer and pianist, Samson Marzbani, will be presenting his new project at the Royal College of Music this weekend. The evening will begin with an improvised performance by the pianist, followed by a short informal talk about the techniques he employs in his composition and the projects he is currently working on.

The height of the evening with be the premiere preview of Un Jour Infini – translated as An Infinite Day: Creating a World – comprised of nine different sections. The work, written for flute and string trio, will be performed by Wissam Boustany along with violinist Daniel Rowland, Paul Cassidy on the viola and cellist Jacqueline Thomas, all members of the high-praised Brodsky Quartet.

The premiere preview promises to be an excellent evening, showcasing the works of a great composer. It will take place at the Royal College of Music in the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall at 7pm on Saturday 26th February.

The event will be free of charge. Donations will be welcome towards the CD recording at the Air Studios in February 2013.
