Brandon Keith Brown
From C.P.E. Bach through Karl Amadeus Hartmann, young US-American conductor Brandon Keith Brown garners attention for rendering “immaculate” performances.
Since becoming the “standout audience favourite,” and 3rd prize winner of the 2012 Sir Georg Solti Conductors’ Competition, he has led the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, Badische Staatskapelle (German debut), Staatskapelle Weimar, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Neue Philharmonie-Westfalen, and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Winner of the Mendelssohn Scholarship in Leipzig and the Ansbacher Fellowship with the Vienna Philharmonic at the Salzburg Festival, mentors include David Zinman, Lorin Maazel and Kurt Masur.
Brown serves as the composers’ strongest ally, transporting musicians and audience alike.
