Brooklyn Rider
String QuartetHailed as “the future of chamber music” by Strings Magazine, Brooklyn Rider is known for their gripping performances and adventurous programming. At home in both clubs and concert halls, they have performed in venues as varied as Carnegie’s Zankel Hall, the Barbican Centre, Japan’s Tōdai-ji Temple, and the South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival, where they were the only classical group featured in 2010. Following their 20-city North American tour with banjo phenomenon Béla Fleck – with whom the quartet collaborated for The Impostor, which was released in 2013 – Brooklyn Rider traveled to Europe where they performed music from their widely celebrated 2013 Mercury Classics release “A Walking Fire” in Denmark, Sweden, Germany and the UK..
