Cantate

Since Cantate was founded in 1994, the mixed-voiced youth choir has become widely recognised as one of the UK’s most outstanding choirs for young people. In summer 2014 Cantate were double gold medal winners in the World Choir Games in Latvia, and in addition to achieving success at international music festivals they have also performed at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal Festival Hall. Cantate have appeared on BBC Songs of Praise and BBC Radio 2, and have worked with conductors including Sir Andrew Davis and John Rutter. They are an open-access choir and their repertoire stretches across classical, show and pop traditions.
