Caroline MacPhie’s striking performances have led her voice to be described as “crystal clear” and “breathtaking”. She has won numerous awards and was selected for representation by Young Classical Artists Trust in 2009. In the same year she was a finalist in the Kathleen Ferrier Awards. On the operatic stage she has performed repertoire from Monteverdi to Max Richter for the Royal Opera, Scottish Opera, Opera North, Opéra National de Lyon and many more. In September 2014 she release her debut recital disc, a collection of songs about or written by inspirational women, with pianist Joseph Middleton on Stone Records. Caroline and Joseph have performed extensively as a duo and debuted at Wigmore Hall in 2011.
