Virtuoso violinist Eric Silberger made headlines in 2014 when he performed inside an Icelandic volcano. An innovative and charismatic performer, Eric has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician throughout the world. His playing has been described as “spine-tingling” (The Guardian), “dazzling” (The Washington Post) and “impeccable” (The Strad). He is a prizewinner of the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition and the Michael Hill International Violin Competition in 2011.
Eric received his masters from The Juilliard School, he also holds a BA in political science from Columbia University. A true musical entrepreneur, Eric co-founded the Castleton Chamber Players and is CEO of the online business Jukubox LLC, a company which allows online music lessons via video.
