Grégoire Gerstmans

Composer

Grégoire Gerstmans is a Belgian pianist and composer whose work explores the relationship between music, time and human experience. Initially trained as a drummer before turning to guitar and piano, his musical approach is shaped by a fascination with simplicity, stillness and the beauty of fleeting moments.

WildKat is pleased to be working with Gerstmans on a PR campaign for his second album, Éternité, released with PIAS on 9 October 2026. Following his critically acclaimed debut Hypnagogie (2021), the album explores our relationship with time, memory and human connection, combining piano and electronic textures to create an introspective sound world that invites listeners to step away from the distractions of modern life and reconnect with the present.

Key works include Ceux qui restent, inspired by the final words Gerstmans exchanged with a friend who has since passed away and Bells, featuring multi-instrumentalist Margaret Hermant of Echo Collective, known for her collaborations with Dustin O’Halloran and the late Jóhann Jóhannsson.

Through the campaign, WildKat is championing Éternité to the UK press, highlighting Gerstmans’ distinctive musical approach and the album’s exploration of stillness, memory and the importance of being present.
