Pianist and accordionist, Dorrit Bauerecker, has artistically connected with pianist and singer-songwriter, Christoph Stöber, through Cologne’s contemporary music scene. Their aim is to explore and rediscover the repertoire of four-hand piano music, spanning from Baroque works to the 21st century.

Together, they innovate concert experiences, breaking the normative boundaries of classical music with their audience.

Their debut program, “Four Handed”, intricately examines the multifaceted theme of closeness through various musical interpretations. It explores the shifting epochs of the zeitgeist with fascinating precision in musical, performance, and scholarly dimensions.
