“Popular Concerts” were created by Prof. Victor Hohenfels and his wife Eva-Maria more than 50 years ago. Since then more than three million concertgoers from around the world have attended them. The name is self-explanatory: the most famous and popular works existing in music literature are presented to the audience.

The Sinfonie Orchester Berlin, with its Principal Conductor Stanley Dodds and many other famous conductors and soloists, have been performing the ‘Popular Concerts’ since the very beginning in the astonishing auditorium of Berlin’s Philharmonic Hall, one of the world’s most beautiful concert halls, with unrivaled acoustics.
