ELLES – Women Composers propose a 360° field of action to make up for the absence of women in today’s musical programming. The cornerstone of all their production, mediation and dissemination initiatives is a research project, involving the exhumation of manuscripts and the reading of scores.

On a daily basis, a group of musicians bring to light works that have been unjustly sidelined or ignored in the repertoire, and which are not published, recorded or programmed.

It is on the basis of these discoveries that they build their action plans to restore this unheard-of repertoire to as many people as possible.
