Moonkyung Lee


Concert violinist Moonkyung Lee performs extensively across Europe, the United States, and Korea, and has collaborated with many eminent ensembles, conductors, and performers. Highlights include the Cordoba Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Maxim Shostakovich and the Beethoven Triple Concerto with cellist Mischa Maisky and the Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra.

Moonkyung Lee’s awards include the Luigi Zanuccoli International Competition and the Padova International Competition, and she holds an NYU/Steinhardt Doctoral Fellowship for Ph.D. Studies (of which she was the first ever classical string performer recipient). Her two recitals in Seoul in 2015 were sponsored by the Arts Council Korea, and she has often featured as a solo performer on Korea’s national television channel, KBS.

WildKat PR worked on her album release of works for violin and orchestra by Tchaikovsky in 2017. It was recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra and released on PARMA Recordings.
