TK Maxx’s 2013 Christmas advert ‘The Moment’ beautifully captured the joy of giving the perfect gift. For the advert, composer and arranger Tom Player has arranged Yazoo’s famous ‘Only You’. The track was recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios with a thirty-one-piece string orchestra and pianist Simon Chamberlain. The arrangement stays true to the original piece, but strips it back to a minimalistic, emotional and very poignant version that is perfect for TK Maxx’s Christmas advert, ‘The Moment’.
