Palazzetto Bru Zane

Music Centre and Record Label

Palazzetto Bru Zane – Centre de Musique Romantique Française is an international organisation dedicated to the research and revival of little-known or neglected works belonging to the French musical heritage of the years 1780-1920. The Centre was inaugurated in 2009 and has its headquarters in a Venetian palazzo dating from 1695. The Bru Zane label produces and releases recordings that perpetuate the artistic achievement of the projects undertaken and have been hailed by the international music press for this work of rediscovery.

The label’s recordings are through CD-books, thematic box-sets, & traditional formats. Recent highlights include rediscoveries in the French Romantic repertoire such as Les Nuits de Paris, from the Folies Bergères to the Paris Opéra – conducted by François-Xavier Roth & an 8-CD boxed set, spotlighting women composers of the Romantic era: 12 hours of music ranging from opera to chamber music, and including symphonic and piano works.

WildKat PR manage Palazzeto Bru Zane’s label press and marketing campaign across the UK, working alongside its world-class artists.
