German baritone Peter Schöne has established himself as one of the finest singers in Germany. His solo career has taken him to concert halls all over the world, including engagements with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, NDR Symphony Orchestra, the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra, the Münchner Rundfunkorchester and the Ensemble Kontrapunkte Vienna. He has collaborated with conductors Ulf Schirmer, Kent Nagano, Thomas Adès, Dennis Russel Davies and Kirill Petrenko.
Schöne has been hailed as a brilliant baritone by Süddeutsche Zeitung and has received rave reviews by FAZ, Opera Now and Opernwelt as well. He joined the Staatstheater Saarbrücken last season as a regular performer and has since established himself as a favourite with critics and audiences alike.
He is also working on other projects, which take him all across Europe. This spring he will perform “Elijah” by Mendelssohn in St. Gallen (Switzerland), sing in the world premiere of “[pi:ps]” by Luca Martin (Germany) and is part of the exquisite cast of Thomas Lachers “The Hunting Gun” at Aldeburgh Festival (Great Britain).
WildKat PR is excited to be working with him on these upcoming projects across Europe.
