Gustavo Dudamel’s extraordinary Mahler Project saw him conduct all of Mahler’s completed symphonies with the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The ambitious project ended with a joint performance of Mahler’s 8th Symphony with over one thousand musicians joining to perform the monumental work. The concert, recorded by LA Phil LIVE and Omniverse Vision was streamed live in the Americas and Canada, and was broadcast in cinemas throughout Europe.
