František Chochola’s First Retrospective – Alone Against the Wind
From November 21 to December 31, 2024, THE YARD Gallery will host the first-ever comprehensive retrospective of Czech sculptor and artist František Chochola. Titled Alone Against the Wind, the exhibition features an extensive selection of sculptures, paintings, and drawings that delve into the depth and breadth of Chochola’s remarkable artistic legacy.

While internationally celebrated for his award-winning coin and medal designs, Chochola’s work goes far beyond these achievements. This carefully curated exhibition highlights his monumental sculptures and intricate drawings, many of which reflect biographical and political themes.
