Violinist Usha Kapoor made her solo debut in 2011 with the Phoenix Symphony and has since performed extensively as a soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician throughout Europe, North America and the United Kingdom. A passionate advocate for American music, Kapoor released her debut album „Beach & Corigliano“ at the beginning of 2024 with pianist Edward Leung, which has been met with widespread acclaim from both critics and audiences alike, earning a place on the 2024 “Bestenliste” of the Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik.

The season 2025/2026 will mark a new beginning for Usha, as she will be – beside touring as solo artists – launching her own new concert series in her chosen hometown Berlin, together with the Piano Salon Christophori. Under the name „Perspectives“ she will be presenting a collection of pieces in 5 concerts, dear to her heart, some well-known and beloved, others more confidential, which should be a wonderful discovery for the lucky listeners. Compositions by women will be featured prominently in these programs, reflecting Usha’s goal of fostering greater diversity and offering a new perspective on classical music repertoire.
