Daniel Hope, “Refuge in Music”

Thursday 3rd October 2013

Daniel Hope’s extraordinary DVD “Refuge in Music” will be released later this month. The film tells the story of two musicians, Alice Herz-Sommer (109) and Coco Schumann (89) who survived the Theresienstadt concentration camp. Kept alive by the Nazis and used to deceive the outside world on the nature of the camps, their performances none-the-less brought comfort and hope to so many. As all artists appeared for free in the DVD, all artist royalties will be donated to charity.
