Digital toolkit launched to help creative freelancers with mental health

As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, a new toolkit is being launched to help creative artists and freelancers take better care of their mental health and businesses in the wake of Covid-19.

The toolkit, called Balance, has been developed by creative sector social enterprise the hub in partnership with the Creative Industries Federation and the mental health charity Mindapples. The free-to-access service provides video and audio content for helping freelancers weather the pandemic’s lasting impact on life and livelihood.

Bayern will Kulturveranstaltungen im Freien ermöglichen

In Bayern sollen ab 21. Mai Kulturveranstaltungen im Freien wieder möglich sein. Dabei gelte eine maximale Gesamtzuschauerzahl von 250 Personen und die Zuordnung fester Sitzplätze, sagte Ministerpräsident Markus Söder.

Voraussetzung sei eine Corona-Inzidenz unter 100 in dem jeweiligen Landkreis oder der kreisfreien Stadt. Kunstminister Bernd Sibler (CSU) sprach von einer ersten Perspektive für die Kultur im Freien. „Das Comeback von Kunst und Kultur nimmt immer mehr Fahrt auf“, sagte er. „Wir dürfen uns auf einen Sommer voll Kunst und Kultur freuen“.

Bavaria to allow outdoor cultural events

As of 21 May, it will once again be possible to hold cultural events outdoors in Bavaria. A maximum audience of 250 people and the allocation of fixed seats will be the rule, said Minister President Markus Söder.

A corona incidence of less than 100 in the respective district or independent city is the requirement. Minister of Arts Bernd Sibler (CSU) spoke of a new perspective for outdoor culture. “The comeback of art and culture is gaining momentum,” he said. “We can look forward to a summer full of art and culture”.

La Folle Journée de Nantes dévoile sa programmation

Après de nombreuses péripéties, la Folle Journée de Nantes consacrée à Bach et Mozart doit finalement avoir lieu du 28 au 30 mai à la Cité des congrès.

Elle tient bon ! D’abord prévue du 5 au 7 février 2021, la 27e édition du festival dirigé par René Martin avait été reportée une première fois du 9 au 11 avril. Les évènements épidémiques que l’on sait avaient imposé un nouveau report à la fin mai. Cette fois, pas de changement de dates ni de thème : ce seront bien Bach et Mozart qui seront au cœur de cette Folle Journée prévue du 28 au 30 mai.

Folle Journée de Nantes presents programme

After many ups and downs, the Folle Journée de Nantes, dedicated to Bach and Mozart, will finally take place from 28 to 30 May at the Cité des Congrès.

The festival is holding on! Initially scheduled for 5 to 7 February 2021, the 27th edition of the festival directed by René Martin was first postponed to 9 to 11 April. However, the epidemic events forced a new postponement to the end of May. This time, there is no change of dates or theme: Bach and Mozart will be at the heart of this Folle Journée scheduled from 28 to 30 May.
