Fidelio Arts Ltd welcomes conductor Susanna Mälkki to its roster for Worldwide General Management
Susanna Mälkki is Chief Conductor of the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra since 2016 and Principal Guest Conductor of the Los Angeles Philharmonic from 2017. She continues to guest-conduct at the highest level, with 2019/20 appearances including return visits to the New York Philharmonic, the Cleveland and Philadelphia Orchestras, the Boston and Chicago Symphonys, the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra. Mälkki also debuts with the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Orchestre de Paris, and Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo in this season.
She makes her debut at the Festival d’Aix en Provence in 2020, conducting the world premiere of Kaija Saariaho’s new opera “Innocence” and also returns this year to the Opéra national de Paris to conduct Philippe Boesmans’ “Yvonne, princesse de Bourgogne”.
