On 6 November, Composer Relations and PR Executive Naomi Belshaw will be conducting a Masterclass on ‘Promoting Yourself as a Composer’ at the Scottish Music Center in Glasgow. Addressing all of the areas that surround a composers identity, Naomi will explore:

• What kind of composer do you want to be?
• How are you going to engage with artists, ensembles, festivals and venues?
• How can you build a profile on social media and create a website that will have an impact?
• How can people get access to your music, recordings and videos?

Naomi joined the WildKat team in May 2018. With over 10 years experience in funding, publishing, licensing and royalties, Naomi is an expert in helping musicians and composers to understand the music industry better. Naomi has previously given talks at Trinity Laban, The Royal Northern College of Music, The London Philharmonic Orchestra Young Composer Scheme, The University of Surrey and the London Symphony Orchestra Soundhub Scheme. She has also carried out 1 to 1 sessions with composers at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival and DadaFest.
