While it was thought that he would take a step back after the announcement of his retirement from the musical direction of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (IPO) for health reasons and a long farewell tour that ended at the Philharmonie de Paris on September 9 and 10, we find him at the beginning of this year at the head of the largest German formations. And it is not in the spring that the great Indian conductor intends to take a rest, since he is scheduled to conduct Anton Bruckner’s 7th symphony in Florence on March 28th, then in Cologne, Barcelona and Madrid in April before returning to Florence in May.
