Off the Clock: 5 Staff Picks

Thursday 30th July 2026

Did you know WildKat’s team spans over five countries? Not only that, but each staff member is deeply immersed in culture–of course that means music, but also visual art, theatre, film, and more! Let’s take a look at five of our staff’s picks this month.

Maia Mendilaharzu, Digital Assistant in our Paris office, enjoyed Madeleine de Sinéty’s exhibition at Jeu de Paume this July. “The photographer died and never had any major exhibitions, except some b&w photos shown in France in 1996 and in Maine in 2011, but she has loads and loads of photos, so this was the first major exhibition. It was super nice, the photos were incredible. I already love photography but this definitely made me want to go out and take more photos.” Check out this exhibit until September 26th!

Kanika Phillip, Marketing and PR Assistant, in our London office took the time to make a Spotify playlist inspired by going to see Alex Isley at KOKO Camden. “The playlist has different artists from Tori Kelly to Donny Hathaway, Perry Como and Lenny Kravitz. Enjoy!” If you enjoy this playlist, feel free to browse through WildKat’s Spotify profile for more themed playlists (we have some great taste).

Hana Zushi-Rhodes, the Head of Digital based in our London office recently rediscovered the 1994 classic Hong Kong film Chungking Express by director Wong Kar-Wai. “As a teen I was a massive dreamer and loved basking in all things melancholy. This film came out of nowhere and hit me hard in so many ways! My older brothers and I were awkwardly grappling with our identities as Japanese kids in the UK, demanding to only speak English and gorging on MTV and stodgy junk food. Our absolute obsession was going to the movies, and independent cinema transported us to foreign worlds that seemed to capture a sense of alienation and not belonging that we felt – something that I think we’re only starting to understand fully now.” The full film is available on HBO Max and Apple TV!

Tim McKeough, Press Director in the London office, highly recommends the play 1536: West End at the Ambassador’s Theatre. “This was the best play I have seen in quite a while. Sadly, there’s only a few days remaining in London.” Written by Ava Pickett, winner of the 2024 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize and directed by Lyndsey Turner (Chimerica), this “razor-sharp, darkly comic and blisteringly relevant” (Independent) new play explores the dynamics of female friendship in a world stacked against women. Hurry up and snag your tickets if you’d like to see this one before it closes!

Hannah Goldshlack-Wolf, Senior PR Manager in the New York office recommends a feel-good classic! “Since my family is from Motown, and because Imani Winds has a version of this song on their upcoming album, I’m sharing “Overjoyed” by Stevie Wonder. It’s a gorgeous song with sophisticated harmonic changes and stunning vocal technique.” If you’d like to check our Imani Winds’ cover, keep up with their website here!
