Job Description – Head of Press

WildKat PR is offering an exceptional opportunity for an experienced individual to join our London team, and both lead and advise our account managers across a diverse range of PR work. At a time of continued rapid international growth, you will devise, develop, plan and implement forward looking PR strategies for print, online, TV and radio as well as social media.

Your strong network and excellent relationships with editors and journalists, alongside your impeccable, up-to-date knowledge of the industry, will enable you to deliver imaginative and diverse PR campaigns

By providing managerial, strategic and creative direction, you will help our team explore new avenues, communicate more effectively and thus enhance our clients’ profiles by reaching new audiences and shaping innovative campaigns.

You will work alongside the Business Development Manager, and both the Junior and Senior Account Managers will report to you. By liaising with both our Berlin and New York offices, there will be opportunities to work abroad and impact the market internationally.

Essential skills and experience:

  • 3 Year’s experience in defining and delivering PR strategies
  • An excellent network and strong relationships, primarily with classical music, as well as lifestyle, culture, technology, fashion and mainstream media outlets in the UK
  • Superb track record of liaising and working with press to deliver consistent results and high value PR
  • Energetic and creative with excellent organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to self-manage
  • Confidence to represent our brand at all levels
  • Preferred skills and experience:

  • Multi-lingual
  • Marketing experience
  • Degree-level education in preferably an arts subject
