Der Kissinger Sommer, in diesem Jahr erstmals unter der Intendanz von Tilman Schlömp, geht ab 2017 eine auf fünf Jahre angelegte Partnerschaft mit der Deutschen Kammerphilharmonie Bremen und ihrem Chefdirigenten Paavo Järvi ein und wird als Festivalorchester jährlich drei bis vier hochkarätige Konzerte in Bad Kissingen spielen, darunter mit Hilary Hahn das Eröffnungskonzert.
