Wigmore Hall announces first schools concert live stream

Wigmore Hall has announced its first schools concert live stream. The event will see Ensemble 360 and narrator Polly Ives present a musical retelling of Giles Andreae’s book Sir Scallywag and the Battle of Stinky Bottom.

RCM to host inaugural Double Bass Festival

The inaugural Royal College of Music International Double Bass Festival will take place on 16 October. Bassists from around the world will gather for a day of masterclasses, seminars, coaching sessions and performances.
