Account Manager – Full time

Job Description
WildKat PR is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our London team. The role will involve working with the Director and fellow junior and senior Account Managers on creative PR campaigns across the classical and contemporary music industries. Ideally, the successful candidate will have 1-2 years’ experience of implementing and creating PR campaigns in a similar industry. They will be expected to establish and build strong working relationships with press to generate media coverage for our clients.
Key duties:
To be solely responsible for the management of international PR campaigns on behalf of WildKat PR clients
To liaise with press to generate and secure media coverage for clients
To take a leading role in the development and execution of unique, creative campaigns to promote our artists and the company
To write and distribute press releases
To attend all relevant artists’ events (which regularly occur outside of office hours) including meetings and performances
To attend potential client meetings where required, preparing proposals and presentation
To monitor and report any new online tools which may benefit the company or artists
To execute efficiently the distribution of promotional materials
To oversee the work of Junior Account Managers and Interns when required
Person Specification
Essential
1-2 years’ relevant experience
Knowledge of classical music, the arts, culture and PR
Proven administrative and organisational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to take initiative and responsibility when working alone
Confidence and ability to manage multiple project simultaneously
Ability to work as part of a team
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm when working under pressure and to manage conflicting deadlines
An interest in online media
Self-motivated
Good standard of computer literacy (Word, Excel, WordPress)
Desirable
Marketing experience
Fluency in another language, preferably German or French
Educated to degree level in an arts subject

Trainee Publicist

WildKat PR is looking for a music-loving and enthusiastic Trainee to join our London team. In this role, you will assist the Account Managers on creative PR campaigns across the classical and contemporary music sectors. You will need to demonstrate a passion for classical music, culture and the performing arts, as well as a creative mind. An interest in online media is also desirable.
Key duties:
To assist Account Managers in the execution of international PR campaigns

To take an active role in the the development and execution of unique, creative campaigns to promote our artists and the company
