After 10 incredible and beautiful months at WildKat PR, it is with great sorrow that I’m announcing my departure from this youthful and dynamic agency. Due to my personal wish to continue my studies at university, I have decided to end my work-relationship with this amazing team.
I first started at WildKat PR with an internship, which gave me an initial insight into the ethos of the company and the way WildKat PR works. I was blown over by how welcomed and appreciated I felt in the office environment, and especially with my amazing colleagues. After my three months as intern, and still at a very early stage in my young career, WildKat PR offered me the opportunity to continue being part of a forward-thinking team and gave me the chance to successfully grow and develop.
I was especially amazed by their passion for innovation and working beyond the remit of traditional PR, constantly trying to create more exciting and diverse campaigns. It is also worth mentioning that many of my colleagues are active musicians and performers, and use this active knowledge and experience to better understand and respond to the diverse needs of their clients.
What particularly thrilled me was the fact that WildKat PR is not only an international player with its three locations in Berlin, London and New York, but is also truly international inside the agency as well. Having work days where you talk 4 or 5 languages is really exciting and sometimes really tests the limit of your brain! 😉 It gave me the possibility to make a contribution across the whole team, not only with language skills but also with crazy and unconventional ideas. That is the great part of this agency, that it allows you to think outside of the box and gives you the freedom and flexibility to work on your projects, bringing the best out of you.
During my time as a Junior Account Manager I took a leading role in the development and execution of unique, creative campaigns promoting artists and the company. I looked after clients and projects, but of course under supervision from the senior staff. I was able to attend artists’ events and got the chance to organise one by myself in Berlin (which was great!). I wrote and distributed press releases and kept updating, developing and working on social networking sites for WildKat PR and my clients.
Bringing all this together, I just want to thank the whole WildKat PR family for this amazing and unforgettable time where I not only gained so much experience in the different aspects of the field, but also learnt a huge amount, especially about teamwork and myself. We’re not saying goodbye forever, because who knows what the future will bring 🙂
All the best,
Vivienne
