Tim joined WildKat in 2019 as the company’s first team member in New York, where he successfully established and led the office. In 2022, he relocated to London and became part of the UK team.
Before WildKat, Tim was Press Director at New York’s Metropolitan Opera, where he played a key role in shaping the Met’s public image and promoting over 200 performances each season. His tenure included major campaigns such as the introduction of incoming Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin, as well as new productions of The Exterminating Angel, Norma, Così fan tutte and Tosca to name a few.
Prior to this, Tim spent nearly a decade as Public Relations Manager at Sydney Theatre Company. Working closely with co-Artistic Directors and CEOs Andrew Upton and Cate Blanchett, he was instrumental in raising the company’s national and international profile. He managed media relations for acclaimed tours of Waiting for Godot, Gross und Klein, The Maids and Uncle Vanya, as well as The Present on Broadway. His work also encompassed major productions such as Tot Mom, The Secret River, True West, and numerous works by Kip Williams. Additionally, he led PR for STC’s award-winning Greening the Wharf initiative, which established the company as one of the world’s most environmentally sustainable arts organisations.
Earlier in his career, Tim held the position of Press Relations Manager at London’s Southbank Centre, overseeing communications for contemporary music and dance. His portfolio included the annual Meltdown Festival, curated in different years by Patti Smith, Morrissey, David Bowie, Lee “Scratch” Perry, and Robert Wyatt. He also led campaigns for artists and productions such as Brian Wilson, Akram Khan, the New York Dolls, James Thierrée, and Russell Maliphant, as well as for the Ether and Mind Your Head festivals and the Easter Delirium seasons.
Alongside these roles, Tim has also worked as a freelance PR consultant, bringing his experience and creativity to a wide range of clients and projects across the performing arts.
